WP Cerber 9.9.3 is a maintenance release with fixes for several reliability and usability issues.
The most important fix restores normal WordPress handling of fatal PHP errors. In some cases, when WP Cerber error logging was active, an uncaught fatal error could prevent the WordPress critical-error page and Recovery Mode email from appearing. Version 9.9.3 fixes that behavior and also makes sure the actual fatal error reliably reaches the Traffic Inspector log.
We also fixed IPv6 range handling in the Access Control Lists. Valid dash and wildcard ranges are now accepted correctly, including the first and last addresses in a range.
For non-English WordPress installations, admin notices generated by background requests are now translated when the administrator actually sees them. This includes email delivery notices, settings recovery messages, and Readiness widget messages.
There are a few smaller reliability improvements as well, including cleaner handling of resolved admin issues, more efficient database operations on frequently used paths, and a fix for PHP warnings caused by multi-value parameters in quick navigation.
