Hello, I am here to report a bug with version 9.7.3 on Cerber > user policies > Admin.
We have set the option “Hide Toolbar when viewing site” to OFF for admins, but when we login with any admins, on any page, the top admin bar is hidden.
If I disable cerber plugin, it returns back and the problem is solved.
We are a dev company and tested everything: it’s a plugin bug.
pls address this asap, it really creates problems.
Thanks
Hi! Thanks for reporting this, we appreciate you taking the time to investigate. What you’re seeing usually points to a conflict with another plugin, theme, or custom code. The fact that disabling WP Cerber restores the toolbar indicates an interaction, but not necessarily that WP Cerber is the root cause. This behavior is not reproducible on a clean WordPress installation.
To narrow this down, please verify by:
Testing on a clean WordPress installation with only WP Cerber active
Temporarily disabling all other plugins and switching to a default theme
Disabling any custom code snippets or functionality added via snippets plugins or theme functions
Once you identify what’s causing the conflict, we’ll be glad to help you sort out compatibility.
On our staging we disabled ALL plugins but cerber but the problem persists.
So not a conflict with other plugins…
Also, you can’t image cerber to work only with an empty WP install to work, clearly it must work with other plugins. Therefore it may be a severe bug in contrast with X, that you should take into account.
Pls let me know if you can help me, this is really drive us crazy as you may understand
