Cerber Security Update 9.8 (file missing)

After updating to Cerber ver 9.8 using the WordPress Updates Process, this file was deleted and not replaced.

>>> The requested file doesn’t exist or has been deleted: … wp-cerber/cerber-activity.php

On a second website attempt, I could see that the file was there before the update and missing after the update.

>>> Is using a prior version of that file an acceptable work around until the next update?

The file cerber-activity.php is no longer part of the current WP Cerber codebase. WP Cerber is continuously updated, and from time to time older files are retired. WordPress is expected to delete obsolete files during an update. No workaround is needed, and the old file should not be restored.
