Recaptcha Exception and other

WP Cerber > Antispam > reCAPTCHA Settings

Current Configuration:
Currently, Google reCAPTCHA configured through WP Cerber is active and protects the default WordPress login page (web-site/wp-login.php).

  • Is it possible to create specific page exceptions for reCAPTCHA?
At the moment (my login and register pages have their own Turnstile reCAPTCHA), there doesn’t seem to be a direct option to exclude specific pages from WP Cerber’s reCAPTCHA.

Suggestions for Improvement:

  1. Page Exceptions:
Adding a feature to exclude specific pages from reCAPTCHA would be highly useful. This is particularly important when login or registration pages already use their own reCAPTCHA, which can result in duplicate verification forms on the same page.
  2. Support for Other Services:
Providing compatibility with alternative solutions like Cloudflare Turnstile and similar systems could expand security options for users.
  3. Dynamic Implementation:
For enhanced security, consider displaying reCAPTCHA (or other verification methods) randomly during login attempts, making automated attacks more difficult.

What’s preventing you from enabling reCAPTCHA on the pages where you need it? Doing so will prevent conflicts.

Regarding the improvements you suggested:

  1. No page exceptions, I’ve explained above.
  2. Cloudflare Turnstile - we will consider its implementation.
  3. It’s implemented, but it’s invisible for end-users. We will continue enhancing it.

We operate our own cloud-based cybersecurity monitoring and analytics system. All customers with the professional version of WP Cerber are protected by real-time threat intelligence delivered from the cloud. For this reason, all captchas are considered lower-priority for implementation.
