WP Cerber was crashing my WP site dashboard for editing, I am on IONOS servers, they had to disable in order to fix site. Happened sometime after 2/2/24 was last time I was in. IONOS advises I am on 8.2 version of PHP but this plugin once deactivated the site was back to running normally whereas I could login to edit.
WP Cerber doesn’t crash websites on its own, no matter what version of PHP a website is running on. It’s tested and compatible with PHP 8.2. The issue you’re encountering may be due to a conflict with another plugin. The right way to find the root cause is to check the error log of your web server for a fatal PHP error.
