We’ve resolved minor issues to enhance compatibility with third-party plugins and improve the usability of the plugin’s admin interface. Deprecated WordPress and PHP functions have been removed, and a substantial portion of the codebase has been rewritten to boost stability and performance. The minimum required PHP version is now 7.2, with PHP 8.x recommended. Notably, we’ve improved compatibility with setups where WordPress files are installed in a separate folder, such as Bedrock.
Minor improvements
- Improved the handling error messages on the standard WordPress login and password reset forms to make it compatible with third-party plugins.
- Improved the handling error messages on the WooCommerce login and password reset forms.
Fixed bugs
- When viewing pop-up windows in the Activity log, incorrect links to Anti-spam settings were displayed.
- On non-English websites, tab titles were not translated.
- Attempting to save add-on settings resulted in a fatal error.
- If WordPress files were installed in a separate folder, incorrect URLs appeared in the Activity and Traffic logs.
- With the inter-page loader enabled, pressing the CTRL key and clicking a link failed to open it in a new window.
